Stefon Diggs visiting Patriots

We desperately need a wr 1 who can help Drake. A healthy Diggs finally gives us a WR that teams have to account for when building their game plan. Also, having Diggs will help take some of the pressure off of a potential WR we may take at #4. I have no issue overpaying to make sure he doesn't leave without a deal. Time for Bob to take out his checkbook and get this deal done.

Oh don't get me wrong I totally understand guys had a tendency to be a diva.. as all great players are especially at WR.. I honestly think the diva trait in him is what makes him a great player. Sometimes guys have certain traits or characteristics that they have to play with. His competitiveness and his passion for the game is unquestionably great.

Under Vrabel here on say a 2 year deal I think it could work and greatly benefit Drake and the entire offense.
Yuck.

I hear you, bud. I hear you.

So he’s not a choir boy. I’m fine with that. Try to reign him in a bit. Talented player. We need talent.
The other Shemar is way better IMO.

Hahaha.. Last time we had a WR with diva personona was:

I know. He shot himself out of town too. I was pissed at him then. Dude! STFU ! Bill's gonna ship.... oh see? He did ship you. Now look at you.

Moss was a bigger diva who bought into the system and was highly productive. When he became an issue, he was gone. I think the approach to Diggs by Vrabel would be similar.

I know right!! Boy... I honestly think had we held on to randy at least another season we get to another superbowl in 2010.. that would have been the redemption SB for randy.

Bill wasn't putting up with his antics.

It's really funny. He got it in his head that he'd tolerate certain ****. Coached LT... put up with AH's horseshit. Randy put a toe out of line and...

Man, I hope he signs.. even for a 1 year prove it deal. Do you think he will??
The physical thing makes me think it's real possible. If he was using them to drive his market, would he bother with that?

I get it. I know he's talented, it's all the other **** I don't like about him.

I really thought the guy had it made in Buffalo... ascending team, young QB, and yet he couldn't keep his mouth shut. Really screwed himself IMO. I guess he wouldn't be the first WR to shoot himself out of town, and he won't be the last.

Like I said, I'll have to hold my nose. The combination of this guy with two young players really concerns me. Not the guy I want mentoring my young'ins.

And I know all the detractors will be happy to tell me the position is full of guys like him. I know. I know that's why Bill couldn't draft them. Diggs is everything wrong with today's NFL athlete. I don't think I can be less in love with a player than this guy. But Vrabel ain't Bill... so maybe.

I really don't like this kid.
So who would your choice for wide receiver be for Maye?

i'm just hoping this isn't the patriots appeasing the morons in the boston sports media. with our media the teams are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Estimated market value: $13.7m annually.

Pats will push for a contract heavy on incentives and light on guarantees - those terms are way more important than the reported value that agents like to publicize. So we could easily see a headline number of say $30m over two years or even more.

Very interesting.. also the fact no other team have inquired.. he's told people in his camp he wants to redeem himself and show that he can still play..

People forget how disruptive Moss was in early 2010. He gives BB a hard time about his contract. He rides TB12 on touches. In MIA he goes toe-to-toe with BOB and yells at Tom at 1/2 time. He knew he was getting phased out...just like Diggs did in BUF once Dorsey got fired.
