I dont understand comparing Patriots teams to other Patriots teams, they're not playing the 2004 Patriots they're playing another AFC team.

There have been 37 playoff games in the Brady era. The Patriots scored 7 non offensive touchdowns ( 2001 blocked FG for TD, punt return for TD vs Pitt--01 Ty Law int for TD in Super Bowl-Rodney pick 6 vs Pitt 2004- and 3 Asante Samuel ints for TD vs Jax, Jax and Indy in the AFCCG in 2006-07) in the first 14 games.
In the last 23 games, they have scored 1 non offensive touchdown, Deion Lewis kickoff return versus the Texans.

7 TD- first 14 games ( team was 12-2)
1 TD last 23 games ( team was 15-8)
And Samuel's int return in the 38-34 loss to the Colts in 2006-07 was the only time the team lost when they scored either on defense or special teams....

1) Tom Brady's team's have scored 1002 points in the playoffs which has to be the league record in 37 playoff games. Second likely is Adam Vinatieri whose teams have scored 676 points in 31 games, overlapping with Brady for many of them
Brady's offense has scored 946 points and the Patriots defense has scored 56 points ( 8 TDs - see next stat). If Brady leads the offense to 54 points he will have been on the field for 1000 points..

2) The two leaders in playoff points both play this weekend and have connections to the PAtriots.
Adam Vinatieri has 237 post season points ( 11 games with Patriots) and Steven Gostkowski has 180 points . Gostkowski has his in 25 playoff games, averaging 7.2 points per game. He wold have to average that over 8 more playoff games to catch AV.

3 ) The only Patriots' playoff game in the last 23 years in which neither Gostkowski or Vinatieri were the kicker was 2010-11 when Shayne Graham filled in for an injured Gostkowski...

4) Brady has more post season passing yds ( 10,226) than Roethlisberger (5256) and Elway (4964) combined.
