I'm looking into buying tickets for the Pats-Jets game in September, but I've never been to a Pats game live before so I was looking for some advice. What is the deal with standing room only tickets? Where is the area where you stand? Can you see the field? Is it very crowded? Do you get stuck behind people or can you lean against a rail or something for an unobstructed view? Actual seats are really expensive, but I don't know if I should spring for them or if SRO is a reasonable alternative. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Your best bet is to go with several friends so that you can have place saved for those runs to the bathroom. Just not drinking is an unexceptable alternative!!!

I had SRO tickets to the SF game at the end of the '04 season, didn't enjoy the experience much. Room with a view is hard to find.
