Re: Spec: Randy Moss to the PUP list

This is an extremely stupid post.

It's an extremely stupid post with 80 replies and 200 views spanning EIGHT PAGES!

"Le Agent Provocateur" has left his calling card once again!

Or as we say in Assisi, "Non me ne importa un cavolo!" )

Rodney did not practice today. I think this injury plagued veteran should be placed on PUP....

The depth of your lameness knows no bounds. So now you were, what, "just kidding," and trying to stir the pot? Please. What a disingenuous piece of JUNK thing for you to say. So now we'll just add phony coward to the list of things you seem to have represented in this long and winding thread. Pathetic.

Oh, no I wasn't kidding or being disingenuous at all.

The bottom line is this: I hate lazy pro athletes.

A HAMSTRING keeps you out for four weeks?!?!?! You're making a gazillion dollars and you can't get yourself on the field over a HAMSTRING?!?! Seymour? Moss? Chad Jackson? Whoever?

These NFL training staffs pamper these boys WAY too much.

Whatever happened to the days of Jack Lambert going out with blood running down his face or **** Butkus spitting his own teeth out on the field or Ronnie Lott cutting his finger to stay in the game?

You think soft-boys like Seymour and Moss would ever do such a thing?

I got guys on my softball team that play for FREE and show up and play hurt every single week.

I'd rather go to battle with one of those ol' boys than these pampered pro athletes.

Okay?

So that's how I really feel about it.

And if Reche Caldwell & Jabar Gaffney can keep themselves on the field while fragile Randy Moss cannot, then Randy can hit the bricks, as far as I am concerned.

I'll take the guys with heart and desire and gumption every day!

You're entitled to your Patriots apologist opinions, I guess. "Everything Patriots is just perfect!"

When Moss starts taking plays off and pulling up lame with hamstrings in big games, just have the fortitude to acknowledge that.

Idiot, you can't just play with a hamstring injury. A hamstring injury caused Geno to go on IR last year after a couple games. CJ worsened his hamstring injury last year which caused him to miss games. You play with a hammy and you run the risk of making it a serious injury that could sideline you many games.

I will refrain from indulging your juvenille obsessions by not calling you names.

I will say, however, that injuries like hamstrings and quads are painful, yes, and they can be inhibiting.

However, there is also the factor of pain tolerance, which varies form person to person.

For example, person A might have a hamstring injury, ice it up, rub a little mineral ice on it to dull the sensation of the pain, and go out and play.

Person B on the other hand, might consider the pain so intense that they couldn't even think of playing.

My guess is, Randy Moss & Richard Seymour are "person B" types, while guys like Lambert, Butkus & Lott are "person A" types.

You can't sprint with a hamstring injury. You just can't, and it doesn't have anything to do with pain threshold.

Christ, every post you make just gets more and more inane. From "Randy Moss will go to PUP even though it's impossible for him to do so" to "Randy Moss doesn't have a spot on the team" to "Randy Moss should just play through his hamstring injury."

You really have no idea how severe or how painful his injury is. I'd suggest ducking out of this thread before your reputation is forever tarnished and people just stop taking you seriously, but I think you may have already blew past that point.

It's official. This is the STUPIDEST thing you've said so far. Amazing. You are a bigger fool than keegs. Holy God.

Re: Spec: Randy Moss to the PUP list

If it was a cut, mid-game, causing bleeding, I'm sure most players, if not all, would get stitched up and thrown back in. Being that it's a HAMSTRING, and that you clearly have not the first clue as to what the Hell you're talking about, I'm just going to chalk it up to total, 100% ignorance.

I think the most astonishing aspect of this thread is that this knuckle dragging mouthbreather has several times suggested that FIVE TIME PRO BOWLER AND THREE TIME WORLD CHAMPION Richard Seymour is dogging it with a hamstring injury.

"Right now, it's at a point where I'm just trying to get myself healthy and get back out on the football field - not just to be out on the football field but to be dominant," Seymour said. "I really haven't been there at that level yet, but I'm working with the trainers. We're on track, I've been working hard and that's the only thing I can do right now. I'm doing everything I can, it's just waiting until the knee kind of comes around."

Knee. You know, the one that he had off-season surgery on.

I think the second most astonishing thing about this thread is how many people who don't want to make it 'personal' with this fluckface. Shall I get you ladies a tissue? Maybe if you made it 'personal' with these MENSA members we wouldn't have a board that's positively cluttered with the garbage these morons cary around in their otherwise vacant pinheads.

Re: Spec: Randy Moss to the PUP list

Armen, you're trying to compare the toughness of modern athletes to the old school guys but you're forgetting something: Money. These owners and teams didn't have millions upon millions of dollars invested in guys like Butkis.

Also, Ronnie Lott didn't cut his finger off so he could particpate in practice and in preseason games.

As for Randy Moss, the idea that he is dogging it or faking an injury would have to make him one of the dumbest people on the face of the earth, and I doubt he is. He took a HUGE paycut to come here. He took that paycut to play for us, no one else. Now he's dogging an injury? Not when he was making $9 million?

That would be like me quitting my job so I could accept one at less than 30% of what I earn now, THEN I fake an injury so I can get worker's comp.

It would be completely foolish to "suck it up" and play hurt in practice, and preseason games. Risking key players getting hurt so that you can look at their practice photos on Boston.com just isn't worth it. How about judging someone's "toughness" when championships are on the line.

I've heard it a couple of times. I usually just think of the person as an idiot but if you want some definitions from the Urban dictionary I chose some that may fit you best...

6. Ass Clown

an unmitigated fool or jerk; a sad sack; a tool or goof.

9. Ass Clown

someone who does something stupid for attention.

10. Ass Clown

A person who is extremely stupid and annoying. Everything they do makes you want to hit them in the head with a 2x4. A complete waste of life. I think this one is the best description when it comes to guys like you and Aqua.

I honestly think you are doing this for attention because everything you have been saying is a load of crap and your statements just keep getting stupider as this thread goes on.

Disclaimer: Please note that "Spec" is short for "speculation". Randy Mosss has NOT been placed on the PUP list. This only a speculative post.
---------------------------------------------------

What else can you do with the guy at this point?

He refuses to practice or play.

We haven't seen hide nor hair of him in weeks.

So far he has missed, what, 3-4 weeks after pulling a hamstring while jogging half speed in the first week of camp?

How bad can you pull a hammy while jogging?

I guess the "old Randy Moss" really is back. The one from the Raiders and his last couple of seasons with Minnesota.

I was hoping for a new & improved Randy Moss that would embrace the Patriot way and get with the program.

I mean if not the PUP list, I don't see how he even makes the team at this point.

Gaffney, Stallworth, Welker, Caldwell, Washington. Brown & Moss to PUP. Jackson gets cut.

Hope none of y'all went out spent $75 on a #81 jersey.

AAAAHHHHHHH the clubhouse leaders for the dumbest post of the season, congrats.

Hamstrings can be debilitating. Also, the more you use an injured hamstring, the WORSE it gets. You clearly are clueless about these sorts of injuries.

Wow.

That's all I have to say.
