It's a shame, Demps might have amounted to something if he'd actually committed to football. But once he refused to do that, it was obviously pretty clear to Belichick that he wasn't going ot make it in the NFL. Luckily it wasn't so clear to the Bucs.

I agree. His heart was never fully in football. I'm thinking that the whole "team-first" concept runs against his idea of individual accomplishments. He's a me-first guy and it just seems to me like what attracted him to football was the money and a national stage. When he found out that he was only a cog in the machine, he couldn't handle that very well.

They might be the same position on paper. But that's about it. How they play the position and what they bring is completely different.

Not sure why some think it's cool to say how stupid everyone else is.

I expect we'll promote Gray but it's a viable thought to spreading the offense out more with two RB (Vereen and White) who can run and catch and someone like Demps could be rotational piece of that.

I'd also like to see someone step in there for the same reason... but if Demps was someone that could adequately fill that need I doubt he'd be unemployed....

A KR is not worth a position on the 53 & esp the 46 given our injury depleted roster.

As to the thought of Gray from the PS to replace Ridley but only if the coaches see something in him that Bolden can't do. Since Bolden is excellent on STs it's unlikely Gray is brought up.

We won the Demps trade. It's too bad we didn't hold onto Blount. His contract isn't that bad. Steelers got him for less than 2m per season as a FA.
