This must be similar to what happens is Baseball when the player comes into the dugout after a Home run and his teammates behave as if he doesn't exist at all

Lmao why do they keep doing this to him?

This headline on nfl.com is "Brady left hanging again".

I thought Brady took a sideline piss and forgot to zip up.

It has to be some standing joke on him...I'm betting the team is screwing with him. Wish someone would ask him during his post game press conference.

Someone please call Dennis and Callahan tomorrow and get them to ask Brady...I listen to weei every morning, tough living in Denver sometimes.

...and soon after, he was heard saying...

I really hope this is it. Funny as hell if so.

I don't know man. We seem to be winning games when this happens..

There are some times that Brady just comes off as "special"

I'm glad someone brought this up. I said something to my wife while watching it today after the 34-7 TD, then when it happened again it was like "damn...someone just high five the dude already."

I wonder if it's just coming off looking strange from the angle we see? In other words, I wonder if there are players in their own little groups celebrating amongst each other, and they don't initially even see him back there until after the camera is off of him?

On a more serious note though, we're witnessing the true height of a competitor in every way. It's great to see him so amped up. He really is the definition of a team player.

Brady is like a kid on Christmas day during every single game that we play. Even more importantly, it's for the full 60:00 on the clock. I bet he felt pretty good to see the defense step up, make some big plays, and put the Ravens in their place. They talk a lot of smack and they took away our chance at a SB appearance last year. It was a huge game, and I'd have to think that it was a week of intensity around those parts.

I thought he was just waving...

This is a bloody travesty, i saw it too.

I think it must be showing Brady's age (and mine too). Most of the kids on the team probably have their "generation" own signal for a high-five. Could it still be the fist bump, i thought that one went out of style too?

Still, you think they'd make an exception and learn to keep him happy.

There are always smaller cliques within every large group. However, I think the most obvious answer is being missed. On the sidelines players are in their own world. You frequently see one player talking to another and it seems like the second player isn't even paying attention. You see that on after play celebrations. You see players sitting next to each other on the bench and it's like they don't exist to each other. They are largely in their own worlds. So a player isn't in 10 feet of Brady and certainly isn't walking directly toward him. The player is supposed to turn, walk toward Brady to sate his need for a high five, especially as Brady could be walking/intending his expression toward some specific someone else? I don't think that kind of behavior is a common trait for an NFL football player.......not to mention most of these players aren't even common household names in New England while Brady's is known in other countries. Not exactly a peer to peer, on the same eye level, I'm comfortable just walking up to him anytime situation.

It is ok if they continue to ignore him as it provides for some in game levity...

This. My kids (ages 26 and 30) think of the high five as a something from the Paleolithic. They just humor me, and I can see it in their eyes - Is this a pre-dementia thing?

Pretty funny. It's like he's that old stoned geezer on the bus that no one wants to acknowledge except maybe with a brief polite smile if their eyes happen to meet. But yeah, just a busy sideline/camera angle thing. I'm relatively certain the team respect the hell out of Brady.
