Hey, lighten up on the Jets fans; if your team hadn't been to the Super Bowl in 37 years (how F#$%ING pathetic is THAT), you'd cling to any ray of hope that "THIS is the year"........
Jets fans remind me a lot of Red Sox fans; every year, they say "This is the year" and have been wrong for 37 years, then they wallow in self pitty. The difference is the Red Sox finally won the whole thing, while the Jets continue to chase the prize.
Just like the Red Sox, the Jets have suffered crushing defeats in the playoffs, the 1984 AFC Championship game played in a bowl of mud down in Miami (funny how Jets fans piss and moan about the sloppy field and how it effected their offense, yet when we mention the mud bowl this year, they all say it's an excuse), the Browns game in 1986, where they blew the lead and choked down the stretch, the AFC Championship game afew years ago where they had the lead at halftime in Denver, only to gag it away at the end (the shot of firemarshall Bill in the stands looking crushed was priceless), and the biggest choke job of them all, the playoff game a couple of years ago vs the Stoolers where all they needed was their stiff kicker to make a chip shot field goal and he gagged.
Yep, Jets fans are pathetic get a lifers, the whole pack of them. I will say one thing, I saw the picture of BrenJetsFan and she is one hot babe. You won't be able to miss her at the game, she'll be the one wearing the Ford Bronco................
