Some Thin-Blooded Teams

Weather or not ... it snows in Foxboro Sunday ... yesterday gave one dramatic illustration of how teams respond differently to whether conditions.

It was bright but brisk at the Sun Bowl in El Paso. The game itself was remarkable for several reasons ... but at one point the camera showed the UCLA bench, in the sunshine ... with heaters they had brought along. Then the Northwestern lads (from just outside Chicago) were shown, on the shady sideline ... with fans cooling them off !

Yeah ... but that's because the Wildcats started off hot - 21 point lead, was it?
But those fans musta cooled 'em off ... while the Bruins finally warmed up.
