appears drew is almost for sure and Lowell is pretty confident. Good signs we will need the bats with beckett only going once

Agreed, but I noticed a long scratch on his nose yesterday during an interview. I hope it isn't serious or god forbid it becomes infected - because that could potentially limit his playing time and/or keep him off the ALCS roster if we manage to get by Ane..LA..I mean the Angels.

cmon. the guy hasnt played in 6 weeks. it wouldnt surprise me if he doesnt play in game 2. the sox will be lucky to get him or lowell thru this series without having to sit on the bench. i dont exspect much from either of them.
