I really don't like the sound of this at all! If this team does not get their act together and play some solid football for an entire 60 mins on Sunday against the Panthers, then they can just forget it.

What was it FDR used to say, the only thing to fear is fear itself. Players inclined to mutiny have no place on the good ship Belichick. Sink or swim time and if they weren't inclined to step up or be real leaders either way, which the post game comments or lack thereof seem to underscore, what difference does it make.

In Thomas' case, I think that ice has already begun to crack. In Moss' case, that's pretty much his entire career.

Just further proves Brady and the other vets weren't kidding when they talked (or didn't) about this team needing to fight harder and work harder.

This makes me think about whether BB might have risked too much when he released or did not welcome back too many professional veterans (Vrabel, Rodney, Bruschi, etc) who would have kept the team in line, especially Bruschi.

Bruschi and Harrison retired of their own accord. And this season he's had too many vets sitting on the sidelines as inactives as it is. Vrabel hasn't exactly been setting a leadership tone in KC, either. Some guys age gracefully while others grow bitter and selfish.

If these guys were sent home for being late today, its bordering on the silly side. With the snow and traffic, sometimes its unavoidable to be a bit late.

I don't agree, how come the rest were all there except these four? This is how I run my organization and it has not failed me. If lets say 50% were late, then I will consider, anything short is just lackadaisical to me.

I can certainly visualize Adalius Thomas reacting so positively to this snub. Good that he has some company.

Wonder how they are taking it. I fear that this is a bad time to crack the whip on issues like this. But what heck do I know on motivation or team play??

It's easy for me to say, living where we get no rain nor snow, but there's 53 players + practice squad, rehabbers, coaches, etc, and all but 4 of them, evidently, got there on time.

If you have to do it though, I do like that it's 4, and surprisingly that Moss is included. By having Moss included, it shows no favorites. Those other clowns are already disappointing the team with their play. It didn't bat an eye when AD was sat earlier this year. No hiding the fact that Bill sent on of his "respected" players home too. No one gets a pass.

Bruschi and Harrison did not retire of their own accord. Harrison spoke about it. I can't remember the exact quote, but he said something about getting put out to pasture before he wanted to, but had to accept it.

The more I read about this and who was sent home the less I believe it has anything to do with the weather, other than Guyton who I am not aware there has been issues with the rest could certainly be pegged as having some motivational issues lately, and yes I am aware of Randy's season stats but it just seems that the fight and fire that was there has been absent of late.
