I'm still not convinced that Russell Wilson is a stud at QB for the Seahawks.

I'm not even sure the Hawks are the best team in that division,the 49ers are.,the 49ers can still win the division if Kaepernick stinks this year because their roster is stacked and in solid depth all over....not so sure if the Seahawks can overcome a mediocre year from Wilson.

Yeah, I wasn't all that impressed with Wilson last night and I think the Broncos' lack of a pass rush and non-existent coverage last night made him look better than he really was.

Anything that Skip Bayless will do to get attention is what Skip Bayless is all about, including trying to sending mixed messages about Seattle winning the AFC. He does this crap on purpose.

With that said - Denver looks like ****. Not impressed with their defense whatsoever. Same goes for their special teams.

It would be kind of funny that Denver had to rely on just Manning, Thomas, Welker, and Decker to win games this year.

The funny thing is that I wasn't all that impressed with Manning last night either. I felt his receivers bailed him out a couple of times last night especially Thomas. Thomas made several big plays off of badly thrown balls.

Manning still throws shorter balls with pin point accuracy, but deep balls look to be floating on him.

I think that people are in for a surprise regarding how the Broncos and the Bengals are the two best teams in the AFC and how Luck, Wilson, Griffin and Kaepernick are only going to get better.

As I have said before, this is not the California Penal League that these guys are playing in.

I expect regression from Luck, Wilson, Griffin and Kaepernick and the Broncos are in a world of hurt defensively in more ways than one. It was bad enough that their secondary was lousy for a 2nd consecutive year but now they lost Dumervil, Miller is looking at a four-game suspension, and I think they just lost Wolfe?

If I am BB, I would do anything to make sure that Denver don't get any of our reserve defensive lineman that is being considered for the 53-man roster. (Edit: No, I won't go there on this thread. )

The Broncos are rapidly approaching their choke point.

I hear the Chiefs are looking good this pre-season....

I think Manning's arm strength may be worse than last year.

But if you listen to the national sports media his arm strength is ahead of where it was last year at this time.

Funny thing last night, I saw the TD to Welker and heard the commentary. The color guys was going on about how the arm is back and better than last year and then they cut to a replay and it shows the ball was a wobbler and he says "it may have wobbled but the zip is there."

Manning threw the ball about 7 yards. There better be zip on a pass thrown 7 yards.

But the fact that there was some wobble on a pass he threw 7 yards and there was absolutely no pass rush pressure tells me his arm isn't back.

I agree with the thoughts about Manning's arm strength. It might not even necessarily be his arm. It's like his whole body. He doesn't seem to move the same anymore. Maybe it's preseason rust or maybe he just got old this year. There was hardly any zip on the ball.

I was actually concern for him when he took that hit and stayed down for a while. His face said it all. As much as I dislike Favre, he must have been one tough SOB. I hope the Bronco O line can protect Manning. If not, it won't be pretty and the donks better have a good backup.

I actually don't think Skip Bayless is that bad. He knows Denver Broncos football pretty well and I also like Stephen A. Smith he's very knowledgeable about the NBA.
