Sixers Series

Into overtime in game four. Joe, it's not about "trusting your guys," it's about regrouping and figuring out the best play so Marcus Smart isn't throwing up a three pointer to win

HOW MANY TIMES HAS MARCUS FREAKING SMART LET THIS TEAM DOWN AT THE END OF A GAME??? That guy should NEVER take the last shot!

Bad acting job by Smart.

Get Brogden back in and take smart out

Smart just makes me nervous as hell when things are on the line. He's a f*ck up waiting to happen.

well F***! Captain Obvious says "Tatum waited way too long". This game will fuel the "overrated" thread for the next two days.

It would help if the Celtics had a coach at the end of games

It would help if Marcus Smart didn't play at the end of games. He missed the last shot at the end of regulation and didn't get the last shot off in time at the end of OT. Drives me nuts.

Well I think he shot about as quickly as you could in OT. But I hear you, he's frustrating

But that's the point of a coach. You take a minute to talk about what you want to have happen on the last play, you don't say "yeah guys just ball, hopefully we'll get a shot."

Celtics in 6.

He obviously is not reading your post. Same way to end the game. So annoying.

I think he is, and I like him in there for good decisions and defense at the end of games.
Our star player tossing Marcus the ball with 1 second left in regulation and in OT is not his fault.
The coach should’ve called TO.

The inexperience of a young, rookie Head Coach has been on display this playoffs series.
That's true for sure, and it might cost them a title. Him not calling timeouts at the end of games is just particularly frustrating because it's such an easy thing to start doing

The C's with the last 15 seconds on the clock reminds of Pierce. Dribble x18, take off balance shot or make meh pass with .9 seconds left. Him and Tatum - brothers of a different mother.

From a tactical standpoint, I understand the logic and situationally-speaking is appropriate. A coach NEEDS to know if his team is prepared to convert in a 1/2 court set.

If they already have a play called and like the matchups, then there is no need to give the defense time to think through the permutations. Go with the flow.

Tatum was late with the dish. Period. He made the shot. Should have started a second earlier.

So? They won a title with that approach.
