Should I do this trade?

I am considering a deal to bring Steve Smith to my club.

MY 1st offer is going to be Willie Parker for Steve Smith
2nd will be Darrell Jackson and Willie Parker for Steve Smith

All Parker is doing is sitting on my bench, but I want to get the most out of him.

Pull the trigger before he changes his mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Normally I value RB much higher that WR but this is one you HAVE to do.

What does the other team's roster look like?

ETA: I'm asking this because maybe you could swing a better deal than what you're offering, depending on what his roster looks like (e.g. if he's desperate for a RB of Parker's caliber).

if you can only start 2 rb, this seems like a good deal for you. but who are you going to start at RB on your bye weeks?
PS how the hell did you get tomlinson AND gore AND parker? must be a hella small league.

NO WAY!

first of all, parker is too good for that, and RB's have more value than WR's. if anyone's going to add a second player in it should be him, not you.

secondly just because you already have two running backs doesn't mean parker has no value for you. you need 3 good RBs for bye weeks, injuries, and there will probably be days when gore is matched up against a tough running defense and parker is not and the right call will be to start parker over gore.

I agree with jaytee, you need 3 quality RBs, and I'd put Parker's value above Smith. Offer Parker for Smith + something else (maybe a low level RB) before you offer him straight up. I'd say forget it if you have to give up more than Parker to get him. Good luck!

If I were you I would do that trade. Willie Parker should be enough to get him. After all, Parker is a usual first round pick while Steve Smith usually falls late in the second round.

instead of offering Parker/DJax if the guy refuses, I would try to trade Parker for Chad Johnson or Marvin Harrison.
