Sherman Afraid of 49ers WRs

That doesn't mean he should have made this comment. He's a QB. He's got to be smarter.

Yeah maybe he could have layed low after the loss. However, he felt the need to speak his mind after the Richard Sherman went on his tirade.

Yeah, part of Kaepernick's response is likely him having his teammates back. I probably would have said nothing, that's just me. But I don't think it makes anything worse by him saying it. 49ers and the Seahawks already hate each other.

I feel like he did this rant as a way of taking up for his teammates especially Michael Crabtree after Richard Sherman did nothing but bash Crabtree to the media since the game. However, I can understand how some may feel if you lost don't say anything till next season etc.

I'm more like that. Not say anything. Or even tell them congrats for kicking our butts if I was never too dejected. I wouldn't want to give out any bulletin board material, but that's me personally. I will say it's nice to see that Kaep is mad about losing and appears to stand up for his receivers.

I don't really blame him. Sherman ran his mouth, the 49ers lost and he is bound to feel bitter even if what he says may not be the truth. Like Sherman being afraid of 49ers WRs. I would be very bitter if I lost and an opponent shoves it in my face while proclaiming his superiority.

And this is why I have no problem with him speaking out. He's standing up for his guy (Crabtree) who by the way isn't mediocre.

I can see why people look at it differently though. Matter of opinion I guess.

I do love how real this rivalry is though. Both those teams hate each other. Its how sports should be.

Is this the future of Pro Sports, throw anything against the wall see what sticks and how many twitter followers you can gain??

Perhaps it is about marketing himself??

Reminds me of back in the day with the Border Wars between Pats & Jets. I was wicked pissed at Ty Law whom I like helping Jets' Keyshawn up after tackling him after a reception and patting him on the back. Not against players being friends…off the playing field. What I love about guys like Brady…he HATES the Jets.

He's definitely a guy you either hate or love.

Me personally I'm a fan.

I neither hate nor love him. I think he's a below-average QB in the pocket (who still has time to learn) who is a more dangerous threat once he gets into the open field than any other QB in the league, including Newton and RG3. Once he sees daylight, he's a legitimate threat to run for 50+ yards in a way that those other guys pretty much don't, and to this point he's been pretty good about avoiding the big hits that derailed RG3 in under a year. I could see him never improving his game at all, or I could see him becoming a sort of evolutionary Ben Roethlisberger, who makes a living off of broken plays, isn't nearly as hard to bring down, but has the added benefit of being able to take off and run for huge chunks of yardage.

Kaepernick was also asked if he would watch the game he said definitely no. Nobody really has remarked about this at all.

Of course when Tom Brady said the same thing, sirens and flashing lights went off in Mike Florio's office and PFT for hours had the headline pinned to the top about Brady being a sore loser who won't even be watching the Super Bowl!

Goodell has established blind hatred of Brady as a component of his Evil Empire meme. If Manning loses this game, NFLN and its Goodelian catspaws will continue to only bray on about how he bested Brady and the numbers are changing in favor of the ""Greatest NFL Player In NFL History"...Paytons Manning
