The biggest knucklehead of them all has this sig:

"The Patriots are playing fantasy football and have made some of the most head scratching moves in the history of the NFL. In just a few months they have turned into the laughing stock of the league"
Mark Kiszla, Denver Post

I wanted to read the article, but I can't find it anywhere.

I went to the Denver Post website, and couldn't find an article written by Kiszla that features this quote. Also, when I did a google search the only place I found that quote was in that posters signature. I have a feeling that's a BS quote. Also, I should mention Kiszla is often called a hack by those who read him on a normal basis in Denver.

Ya know, I like to see other boards, so I checked out www.bolttalk.com and it's pretty much the same over there. They have a thread running that made me chuckle.

http://forums.bolttalk.net/showthread.php?t=7408

If it is Bolt fans that are so obsessed, what is the deal with this thread?

Actually, CS invited me to come in here and stir the pot. Seems you guys didn't need any help. Would you like some links to other Chargers boards for you research? :singing:

Since I really haven't read anything of yours, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are sensible. But listen, have you actually read through that thread on your board? A majority of those posts are downright delusional-Brady's done, pats wont make the playoffs again-pats wont even who up-I understand smack talk, but really.

Also, read earlier in this post, you guys titled the game, "Day of Reckoning" do you see pats fans doing that with the Colt game? No.

I really just posted it here so we could all laugh in amazement at the obsession.

I love how you clowns want to laugh at our support of last year's MVP. I'm sure it come from all your humble roots! No arrogance here, that is for sure.

You know what is pathetic? The way pats fans used Merriman's comments at a rally to get yourselves souped up. Didja hear? Merriman said he would hit our primadonna in the mouth! Lame. As if he meant it as a literal idea?!

Here is what I had to say:

The sound bite came during the lamentable rally the Chargers had the week before the game. Merriman was asked what they'd do to Brady. He said, "punch him in the mouth". To Pats fan, it was a literal comment. Typical of their mindset.

Just imagine what they would be saying if Merriman's answer in front of a huge throng of fans was, "We're going to rush him and try to tackle him before he throws the ball."

The next time Merriman is asked the same question, I hope his answer is more diplomatic. Something like, "I'm going to rip his head off and **** down his neck." or, "I'm going to set up a weekly card game for him and Priest Holmes."

Obsession is what makes the NFL so great. As the Pats continue to be good and fail to win the Superbowl, we'll see how calm all you sensible fans remain. You have to stop and realize how little there is to talk about this time of year.

I won't make excuses either. The loss hurt deep. It was senseless, but we lost. Why shouldn't we obsesses about the team that 'always' win? It is where we want to be. To deny that the Chargers have an excellent team is equally useless. Its all in fun.

Now flame me! I need a laugh or two.

I don't know what you're actually talking about here. First of all, nothing was mentioned about any rallies. Second of all, nohing was said about the verbage Merriman used in talking about the upcoming game.

If you are capable of simple reading comprehension (which I am now starting to doubt) re read what I said. I was poking fun at the extreme exaggerated comments that were made by you the fans. Not anything about LT's words or Merriman's words. They're not who we're laughing at, you guys are.

Now that is a reasonable response. That's completely justifiable and I understand where you're coming from(minus the senseless part.) The Chargers do have a very talented team, and I, at least, have never disputed there on field ability.

lol @ this guys quote

Instead of drafting 100 new receivers, maybe you should've just kept good ol' Deion Branch. Jackasses.

they complained about safeties making plays so i come here and say:instead of bringing in 100 safeties, maybe you should've just kept Rodney Harrison. MORONS

plus we drafted what..1 WR since Branch? idiot

Amen Brother. That was the worst trade in recent memory. Harrison had torn his hammy that year and had a sub-par season. No way should they have let Rodney go. Seau maybe. Harrison? bad, bad, bad.

Perhaps I am mistaken but wasn't Harrison a free agent (who had been released) when the Patriots signed him?

It was off topic, I know. I read this thread, but none of specifics really mattered.

For you:
I'm looking forward to seeing Welker burn it up this year! Ya got yerselves and little Eric Parker. Wooohoo! (Welker was drafted by the Chargers and got him stolen from Miami when they tried slipping him to a practice squad though waivers. He's a heck of a return man, but it remains to be seen if he can become the 3rd receiver...)

I don't remember the exact circumstances, but I do know for sure, the Chargers either cut him or made it clear they wouldn't try to retain him. Not that it matter, it was wrong.

Hi All

Just here to keep it real. Yes, we released Rodney. Junior too. Oh, and Reche and Welker and... anyone else? Britt?

I know this is just smack talk and pretty pointless overall, but I just happened to find it and found it hilarious. Obssessed wouldn't even begin to describe the Charger fans at this point.

At this rate, losing this game after they have basically set it up as their early Super Bowl, would be crushing (for their fans.) The most important game should always simply be the next one on the schedule.

Anyway, enjoy.
I'll say this. We would not be happy. But what fan would be? Rest assured we won't be crushed. The reverse is also true. Don't sit here and suggest pats fans will be happy if we beat you. No, you won't be. But you'll move on, right?

That is, as long as we don't crush you. Sorry, couldn't resist?

That board you're referencing can be a bit over exuberant. Bottom line? Every Bolt fan firmly understands at this point that it's ALL about the post season. Rest assured we hope to see you there.

They are just doing the same thing we would be doing if we lost.........but we didnt.....so go eat your avocados and SHUT UP!
Yea, I think thats true. But you wouldn't be quite as pis sed as we were. After all you do have 3 rings.

Don't forget him encouraging the "Brady Sucks!" chant, either. That was mature.

To sum up, Merriman:

1) led a "Brady Sucks" cheer at a rally (for the freakin' AFC title game )
2) was suspended four games for steroids
3) has a spastic dance that he uses to mock other players, no matter how routine the play may be
4) whines like a little biznitch when someone mocks the dance he uses to mock others

Some role model you got there.

Anyway, the threads that the Bolt fans have going on are friggin' hilarious, so tell everyone to keep up the good work.

Exactly, for one, as was said above we are not calling the Colt game "day of Justice" or something ridiculous. Secondly, we were burned all over the middle of the field in the AFCCG, but only made one addition on defense of note-AD. (Tory James was for depth mostly) If the Colt game was to have initiated a big spending spree in the offseaon, then I think we would have gone with a higher tier safety in free agency and maybe traded up for a round one corner.

Regardless, even if the Colt game was the cause of the offseason moves, it's not quite the same as underlining, bolding, circling in red, etc... the Pats Charger game as they're doing now.
Yea because you've exacted yours in the post season against the Colts on more than one occaision. We on the other hand haven't had the best of you YET in the post season.

We definitely want another shot. Don't lose to Indy again on the way and we'll more than likely see you there.

Yeah, but what if San Diego actually has to win a playoff game to get there? We may just miss each other!
