I know this is just smack talk and pretty pointless overall, but I just happened to find it and found it hilarious. Obssessed wouldn't even begin to describe the Charger fans at this point.

At this rate, losing this game after they have basically set it up as their early Super Bowl, would be crushing (for their fans.) The most important game should always simply be the next one on the schedule.

Anyway, enjoy.

Wow.

I never thought a team could be that full of themselves when they haven't won a playoff game since God knows when.

I love how they try to prove they are better by comparing the number of Pro Bowlers. Congratulations, I think you just found the world's dumbest argument.

And some of those people just need help.

They are just doing the same thing we would be doing if we lost.........but we didnt.....so go eat your avocados and SHUT UP!

AH, HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

Man, these guys are taking over for the Faider fans! Get in line charger fans, we have reserved your spot right behind the (IT WAS A FUMBLE!) Faider fans.

I love how they call us classless and then support steroid boy Merriman and cry-baby Tomlinson. And their argument about Rivers being a Pro-bowl selection over Brady... ummm, I guess they don't realize that Brady was the alternate who said no in going to the pro-bowl and then they asked Rivers who accepted. But I guess you can't talk logic in a smack forum.

Give the Chargers fans a break. May is the high point of their season.

I just liked how many people were in denial of Merriman being a complete non-factor against NE last year.

Eh, it's a game. You win some, you lose some. If I care more about the game it'll only be because losing will mean a week of stupid Chargers fans gloating about a regular season win.

We did lose. To the Colts. And we are not doing that. Pats fans are focused on the playoffs, not the Colts game. I don't remember any threads calling the Colts game the day of reckoning.

No, but at the same time, this uncanny offseason is directly the result of the Colts game.

i think you're selling BB and Pioli short. the team had some obvious issues last year that were apparent before the Colts game. The Colts game just meant last year's flawed team didn't have quite enough.

If the offseason was all about the Colts game I think we would have seen some more defensive pick-ups.

Let them get in line behind the Raiders, Steelers, Panthers, Titans, and all the teams in our division, as well as a few others, who have treated every game with us since 2002 like a superbowl......

Even if it is the preseason, just ask Panthers fans.

Take a number, and stand in line, Charger fanboys....

Exactly, for one, as was said above we are not calling the Colt game "day of Justice" or something ridiculous. Secondly, we were burned all over the middle of the field in the AFCCG, but only made one addition on defense of note-AD. (Tory James was for depth mostly) If the Colt game was to have initiated a big spending spree in the offseaon, then I think we would have gone with a higher tier safety in free agency and maybe traded up for a round one corner.

Regardless, even if the Colt game was the cause of the offseason moves, it's not quite the same as underlining, bolding, circling in red, etc... the Pats Charger game as they're doing now.

I just read that entire thread and it is hilarious.

That csfoster troll was cuttng and pasting pieces of Patsfans posts for the other dweebs to ridicule, but it only made them look so silly.

This game is so important to them. I just cannot believe it. They have surplanted the Raiders as the Fans Who Won't Let Go.

If you don't have time to read the trhead, imagine a hundred AquaVelva4vers on a sugar high from eating twinkies all morning, and who got hold of a Victoria's Secret catalog.

Pandemonium reigns. You have to see it to believe it.

Plus, having over $30M in cap space can help in your ability to sign free agents.

One thing that San Cry-ego fans aren't getting. Interesting that Seau wants to play one more year to get a ring, but will sign with NE instead of a SD team that he played for. I guess Seau knows which team he has the best chance to win a Super Bowl with, and it ain't with that woman LT and his band of crybabies.

Haven't finished reading the thread yet, but here's my favorite post so far:

"I love the post Chuck but with one exception. You trippin' if you think the Pats will even make the playoffs. We'll demolish them on 9/16 and then when they are scheduled to come play at SD in 2008, they'll be so chickensh*t that they won't even show. We'll have a big ole tailgate party anyway and just laugh at every other team around the league while we get our 2nd bye week for being the greatest."

I loved the post where somebody said that 15,000 Chargers fans were going to invade Foxboro. That made me chuckle since not too long ago they struggled to get 15,000 Chargers fans in their own stadium.

Even in the middle of our 3 Superbowls in 4 years streak I can't ever remember Patriots fans being this fu--ing arrogant. And we had a lot more of a reason to be than a Chargers team that had one very good season but overall has underachieved. Some of the things they say you think to yourself that they had to have written it as a joke but then you realize that they are being dead serious. I can't even think of Indy fans talking about themselves the way the Chargers fans do. It is really amazing to me.

I don't get these bolts fans its the west coast their supose to be laid back not care, must be a self-esteem thing. They've never won anything, were told they would last year, and can't let it go.To me they've replaced the Jest fans as the most PATHETIC in the league.

The influx of trolls here before the game last year was unlike anything I had ever seen before. They make me actually like Indy and Pittsburgh fans.

The biggest knucklehead of them all has this sig:

"The Patriots are playing fantasy football and have made some of the most head scratching moves in the history of the NFL. In just a few months they have turned into the laughing stock of the league"
Mark Kiszla, Denver Post

I wanted to read the article, but I can't find it anywhere.
