Sentinel-Enterprise trolls its own writer re: picking Brady

The biggest difference between Bledsoe and Brady was Brady's release time. Bledsoe was slow of foot and slow of decision. He was like quicksand compared to Brady. Bledsoe was more like Flacco, pat the ball, pat the ball, pat the ball, heave the ball.

As much as I love Drew, I cannot tell you the level of exasperation, frustration, and sheer madness that caused me.

If Tb12 holds that ball longer than it takes to fart its bordering on the liklihood of an astronomical anomaly.

A little Chris Mortensen from the same time period for ya.

Chris Mortensen - Brady-Bledsoe foremost among QB controversies - ESPN.com

Note to op ed writers. Don't quote Morons. I.e. Borges.

You can't say it any better than Ron Borges of the Boston Globe: "Bill Belichick walked the plank this week. Now Tom Brady will decide if he goes off the end of it or not."

By all accounts, Belichick either lied, misled or miscommunicated his intentions to Bledsoe.

Now understand something about Belichick. He is not a coach with good people skills. That's why the New York Giants never saw him as a successor to Bill Parcells. Or, let me steal again from Borges, who described Belichick as "personality-challenged."

Difference between the Fred Hurlbrink Jr. article and the CM article is one is pro Bledsoe while the other is Anti-Belichick. Imo.

This is one badass phone. Calculator??? Shut the Front Door!!

I always found it funny how the same reasons given for Bledsoe's failings quickly became the reasons for Brady's success. And they still couldn't recognize it was the QB.

Let's not forget how Antowain Smith's rushing, the improvement of the offensive line and the additions of Marc Edwards and David Patten have aided the youngster. He has more weapons, more time and more support from his offensive coordinator.

What would Bledsoe do with Weis's improved play-calling, better blocking, a running game and an extra receiver or two?

Great article. Thanks. It reminded me of the arguments that I was having with the Bledsoe fans, or Bledsholes as some of them could be called, who wouldn't let go of Drew, even after Brady had led us to the promised land.

I distinctly remember having the arguments once Drew was medically cleared after the Bills game. My response was this.

"Pats are 5-2 with Brady at QB. Hes completing 63% of his passes and has a 2-1 TD/INT ratio and 4 of those INTs came in one game in DEN where we always suck. If Drew comes back, do you think he really does better than that?"
