Found this article very interesting with some unusual takes on the events in Mobile, and the state of the draft in general. Basically, not a good draft compared with last year. Safety is the strongest position.

When you read this article, makes most of the mocks look like they were thought of in a drug induced fog.. will take a couple of safeties though.

Depressing:

Wide Receivers: Worse than it'll probably be considered.

Linebackers: Great on the outside, lousy inside.

Cornerbacks: Not as good as the draft will indicate.

Good news as you say: A good year for safeties.

Here is another senior bowl overview. Interestingly, here the writer claims that P. Willis was one of the biggest disappointments and does not resemble a 1st rd prospect. In the other article, the writer claimed Willis would be fantastic and possibly a top 15 pick, or if later, a steal. Let the spin begin...

I can't remember a time when ILB was considered STRONG. And that is going back to 1997 when I first started whatching the draft.

People said that WR last year was bad. They seem to want us to think that this year will be worse???
