Rugby 7's looks to be a bit more marketable in this country ... looks like we'll be seeing more of it.
Supposedly it has been gaining in popularity since NBC started airing it in 2011.
If it goes pro bet Kraft will have a team here in New England ... perhaps make it a part of the New England Revolution stadium he keeps talking about or better yet at the Razor.

I hope not. I'm tired of giving Krafty Bob (and the NFL) my cash. Good thing he doesn't own the Bruins.

Yeah I was kind of shocked at the time. Is that normal for Rugby or is this some new format?

Makes sense, though, seems like a really grueling game.

I just recently started going to ruby games down here in Argentina. They have a bunch of local teams here. I really don't know the rules yet. The games usually run about 1.5 hours. But that is with full rugby.

After just going to a couple of games I can firmly state I like rugby much better than soccer. For some reason I just can't appreciate the game of soccer even though I'd love to since everyone is crazy about it here.

For me my enjoyment of soccer has everything to do with the stakes. World Cup is 2nd only to the Super Bowl for me. But I just can't get into MLS.

Are assists a thing in rugby? If so, Ebner almost had one. Plus that was a pretty sick, nfl-caliber stiff-arm by #2. Rugby kicks ass.
