You have a good point. BB shouldn’t have been such a jerk towards the people who were just trying to do their job. So you may be not be wrong in regard to BB.
My earlier comments are more to do with someone losing a job, not being able to get another one in the same field and trying something they are not comfortable with.

I think BB’s crusty persona was a way to keep a distance between the media whores and his authority as HC. So he didn’t have to worry about his inside the locker room image. It was his game face, for the media game. His priority was his job not theirs, and it showed.
