Search problems?

Has anyone else noticed there's a gap in the threads that show up when you search? Roughly, it's most of December.

If you go to page 16 of a Patriots forum search for "Patriots," you'll get a grand total of 13 threads for December.

Has anyone else noticed there's a gap in the threads that show up when you search? Roughly, it's most of December.

If you go to page 16 of a Patriots forum search for "Patriots," you'll get a grand total of 13 threads for December.

It's because I deleted the search archive during the forum transfer as it was a huge table. I have to re-run a process that will repopulate it, and it will bog down the server to the point I'll have to disable the forum. It will take approx 3 hours, and I just haven't found a good time to run it yet. With the playoffs there's not exactly a good time to do it, unless I do it around 3-4am, and that's when I'm sleeping so I guess it will have to wait

And while we're on the subject, are the pre-12/2005 threads still out there somewhere or are they lost forever?

Between the current forum (plus the 'lost' posts) and the old one (http://www.nflfans.com/patriotstalk...m=100&page=&thread_id=&prev_page=show_threads), there's an almost 4-year history of PatsFans posts.
