Scouting the Tigers

Former Southeastern Louisiana University coach Oscar Lofton was one of four NFL scouts listed on the sign-in sheet at the Charles McClendon LSU Football Practice Facility. Lofton works the South for the San Francisco 49ers.

The New England Patriots sent two representatives. The other scout works for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Miles, a former NFL assistant coach, said he thinks scouts try to attend scrimmage sessions when possible.

I do mine when the games start....the only glimpse of pre-season I get is a view of the Hofstra squad.

Yes, I know you never take a day off unless it's a woo-woo ride to the emergency room for a boo-boo.

Ha, drove myself, family is all mad as the devil over it, but when your pain level is high enough that your reenacting scenes from the Exorcist, you aren't waiting an hour or more for a ride that will take another hour or better when it starts. All those years of seasickness pay off when you can keep it between the ditches while dancing the watusi behind your seatbelt. :snob:
