Not sure it is about money, it seems more about walking away and living his life with his family.
He had the chance to do that and came back to football. Be that as it may, he won't stay forever and I hope the Pats do a better job of replacing him when he leaves again than they did last time.

Great to hear . the top Pats FA checked

Probably means they will draft OL prospect or two this year despite reportedly weak class and low need ..

That's good but they gotta find someone to groom for the position. Not some former radio talk show host that talks like Chris Farley.

I'm not even sure about the "low need" part. Assuming Vollmer retires I think they're in the market for a tackle, and Andrews -- with all due respect for the mental side of his game -- may be the team's most upgradable starter.

Excellent news. With all the potential turnover coming on defense, that's where I want the focus of the offseason to be. Even though there are upgrades and depth additions to be made on the OL, I'm confident with Scar that he'll find a combo of 5 that can get the job done regardless.

I've been thinking about how so many of the Rams recent draftees, like Goff, fail to develop well.

So is it a problem with the coaching or the scouting?

I ask, because the #2 overall choice in the 2014 draft was OT Greg Robinson, who has been a bust so far. Anyone think he might be a guy to target and acquire cheap to give to Scar to see if he can make something out of him?

I think he just hates his wife.

I want Scar here for life. Even when he's 95 and has IV's up the wazoo.

This is the best news during the past week and some change, as far as I'm concerned.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand to honor Scar in 2017 we'll be wearing the uni's we wore in his first season here!!!!!
