When did I say THAT was McD success?
If McDs entire career was 2009-2011 in Denver and St Louis I would say he has had no success either.

You cited Orton's stats and said that they were average on O. Daboll had the same output in MIA. Why is he a failure and not average?

New England is a different place. As you know it has the GoATs at HC and QB. Josh fits here well but the jury is out everywhere else. To say Daboll sucks when not taking into account the ****ball organizations and talent he has had to work with (except MIA) and not see him run an offense here is a partial assessment of his ability.

Josh has done a great job here no doubt but to say Daboll is not as good as Josh without having the advantage of seeing him work with the likes of Brady, Moss, Gronk, Welker, JE and BB providing direction is not fair.

I said I don't want Daboll as the OC because I think he is awful.

They really have nothing to do with me thinking Daboll sucks, but if you are trying to compare Daboll to McD you have no success to use.

Your argument would be akin to saying any coach who failed might be as good as McD because his players must have sucked and if he had Brady he might be good.

If you want to show me reasons that Daboll is good I will listen, but I haven't seen them, and 'hey anyone might be' doesn't move the needle for me.

I brought up JMD b/c you said Daboll would turn this offense into **** if he left when historically he has had little to work with outside of this org- just like Josh. Do you really think BB would let Daboll turn this offense into ****?

I brought up STL and DEN because those are examples of Josh being very average to sucky when the talent he has to work with is marginal to functional- just like 2010 MIA w/ Daboll.

The circumstances are different with Josh because he had tremendous success here twice but a failure twice somewhere else. We don't know what Daboll would do here b/c he hasn't done it yet.

I'm fine with you thinking Daboll sucks but I'm not convinced of it until i see him screw up something good.
