I think he is a solid player,a former pro bowler with the Eagles and at a position of severe need here....maybe he won't get what he is asking in a busy DB market and the Pats make a play for him at a reasonable deal?

I mean, he graded out as a top 5 safety according to Pro Football Focus (take it for what it's worth), so why wouldn't we want to take a shot on him? Clearly still has a little left in the tank, and at 32 (will be 33 in Sept), is still younger than reed or woodson.

As long as we find somebody (whether through the draft, FA, or in-house) that can help cover the middle of the field, tight ends, and NOT get TOASTED deep, i don't care who it is.
