Didn't see anything on this site, but ESPN is reporting Nick Saban will interview for the vacated job at Alabama. Wonder if this will be another distraction down in Suntan land heading into this game. This is going to be a dangerous game to say the least. Win this one and I think they run the table.

Interesting. I thought Saban said unequivocally he would be back with the Dolphins next year.

The rumor is controversial. After seeing the genius Saban pass on Drew Brees as QB, which would have made them a serious AFCE contender, I think we're better off having him stay in Miami. Brees lacks size, but he is known for a Tom Brady style work ethic and study of the game. He's a winner.

Besides, Saban the buddyfolker, needs to suffer loss after loss to us after foisting that pitifull waste of roster space on us as a 2nd round draft pick, the perrenial inactive Marquis "The Bust" Hill.

They've got electric boots, and mohair suits. I read it in a magazine.

S-S-S-Saban and the Fins

I still think Saban's a great coach and would very much welcome his going bnack to the ranks of the NCAA to act as de-facto scout for N.E.

I'm only for him leaving if we can get Dave Wannstedt back in Miami. I see similarities between Saban and Pitino, with high intensity and strict discipline better suited to the college game.

Amen to that. I think a lot us breathed a huge sigh of relief when Brees went to NO.

"Huizenga gives Saban vote of confidence"

Boy if that's not the kiss of death I don't know what is.

Now is this like the "vote of confidence" he gave Dave Wannestead by extending his contract the year before he fired him? Or is it the type of "vote of confidence" Huizenga offered to Rick Spielman before letting the coach fire him?

Or maybe its the "vote of confidence" that Saban himself gave to Mike Mularkey as OC?

Why does it just seem like the term "vote of confidence" in the NFL is a code phrase for "get ready for a coaching change"?

I read this on the Fish board a few days ago. Don;t know if its fact or fiction.

After last week I think we'd be very lucky to run the table. Jax and Tenn are no gimmes especially the way Garrand and Young are playing for their team. If we had trouble beating a 2-9 Lions that really had nothing left to play for, I am just too afraid to think how we will play against Tenn and Jax.

Didn't Huizenga say something like that right before he sold off the Marlins?
