If it were a team I was expecting to make the playoffs and possibly be a future opponent for the team then just to sit on the ball with a big lead might be better than giving the other team something to fume about when the playoffs come.

Kansas City OTOH is NOT a playoff team so simply Fu(k off if they didn't like it.
