Weird photos. All I care about is winning or building towards winning. I don’t buy the whole ‘connect w young people’ narrative. While I admit generational changes occur, there are still young people out there who both know how to log into online banking AND understand doing a job.

If Mayo wins, great. If not, after given a fair chance, move on. Fans who cry about press conferences and snippy comments to the media baffle me. Confetti and duck boats. Love that combo.

Agreed here. I've said as far as coaching strictly coaching Mayo will be more Bill like than people will realize. Not a personality aspect but a coaching aspect.. the fundamentals, the teachings, the principles things like that. On wolf it's said that contract extensions have bee. Offered to them.. from this point on it's going to be up to those guys on if they want to sign. Guys are allowed to show thier true personality every organization should operate that way.. the more comfortable guys can feel the better than can do their jobs on the field.

I think people forget that Mayo was tough and smart before he ever played in the NFL. Big reason why Belichick picked him.

I guess based on some posters criticism.. mayo should have all the players ask to speak, be ignored while passing in the halls at Gillette, be on edge every minute... be called out in film review.

It would me, and I think Polk is going to be great. But I doubt VERY much that he will get the CHANCE to catch 90 balls or get more than a thousand yards.

Of course Bill is going to talk Mayo up, he was on his staff. Regarding his time on defense, the LB’s have been a problem for years and are routinely exposed by any team with speed. Most of the time coaches who are promoted to HC are known for something around the league. Mayo isn’t known for anything.

In fact, since 2020, Bill’s defenses have had a very difficult time against any team that’s .500 and above. I understand their offense has been bad, but you can see how much talent they lack on that side of the ball. Both Miami games are the best example of offensive players blow right past them.

Bill doesn't talk people like Mayo up to the degree he did for nothing. Plus, the "you should be a coach" bit was disclosed to Mayo privately, something said as soon as he retired as a player.

I'm not saying he's gonna be amazing or even good, I don't really know. I just am pushing back against him being a disaster. I'd have more confidence in saying he'd be decent than a disaster.

I really liked the Polk pick and think he will lead the team in TD receptions with maybe 800 yards, but I think Pop has the most catches.
