Wonder if he was told to tone the smart stuff down?

Seems like it. When he first started he was diagnosing plays and predicting where they'd go constantly, now it seems like he does that only a few times a game.

No one's having more fun than that dude. I wish he did every game ever.

It was great when he saw Butler was coming on a CB blitz a second time and said something like 'has Bortles seen it this time?!'.

There's not another color guy who would have spotted it coming. There's been multiple times this season where he's straight up called what the D is doing or which receiver is going to be open pre-snap.
