Rodney on Dan Patrick Show

It was only a couple of minutes but they touched on a couple of things (including that dirtiest player poll, with neither of them mentioning the fact it was a preseason poll):

* Rodney said that in his Charger days, he used to play with rage. Now he has peace in his heart, but he still wants to take the opposing O's heads off.

* Rodney said that, while he was with the Chargers, he wanted to knock Brady silly because he was a "pretty boy." Having played with Brady now, and seeing how tough he is . . . he still wishes he could knock Brady silly once in a while.

* Rodney summed up the team well--"a bunch of old guys, a bunch of average players who get the job done." :rocker:

A couple of other things I remembered:

* Rodney isn't offended by Chad Johnson's antics. He is offended by such antics from "terrible football players" such as Freddie Mitchell.

* Rodney on playing on Monday nights: "We don't care. Sundays, Sunday nights, Monday nights, even on Tuesdays, our off day . . . we don't care."

Actually I think the guy isd out of football. He has no stats for 05 or 06.

I don't see any injury reports.

Ya, i remember that report after the superbowl where BB was sitting at his desk with his feet up (so said the report) and he said something about Mitchell to the effect of "he's terrible, and you can print that":singing:
