Harrison was dressing at his locker when nose tackle Rashad Moore began pestering him to sit and play dominoes. It was a relaxed moment before practice and the domino tables were nearly full. But the safety would have none of it.

“I’ve got to lift,” Harrison said pointedly. “I’m trying to win a Super Bowl.”
Harrison’s tone was unmistakable, his implication clear - the Patriots never stop working and never take their eyes off the ultimate goal. Get in line.

No player represents this laser focus better than Harrison, who just finished a year he considers both the most trying and rewarding of his career. From the bitter disappointment of missing last year’s playoffs to the public shame of an HGH suspension to the glories of 16-0, Harrison appreciates his team’s place as much as anyone in the organization.

“I’ve worked so hard,” he said after Saturday night’s win over the New York Giants.
