(edit: the initial ESPN report was updated to mention that it was from brain cancer, as I guess Curt Shilling revealed rececently)

He was only 57 and by all accounts a great guy, great teammate, great family man, member of the community, and was always fun to watch. That knuckler could dance!

Sox should retire his number. #3 all time wins and could have been #1 but realized life was so much more.

I didn't know he was sick...very sad news. I always liked and appreciated him. Class act
