Passed away from Alzheimer’s at age 77.

Remembered as a great regular season coach who could never get it done the playoffs. His last NFL game was 2006 divisional against New England with the famous Troy Brown interception strip.

I always thought he was a better coach than he got credit for. He had some good teams over the years that just couldn't get over the hump. The Chargers screwed him by canning him after going 14-2 and the Redskins kicked him to the curb after one year for Spurrier.

Brought credibility to WASH when he was there.

Lots of respect for Marty.

He never had that great QB (Montana was past his prime). I'm convinced if he did he would have won a SB.

Prob could have won if they had kept Brees but that was not his call.
