Ricky Williams to Rams?

According to ESPN news the Rams are interested in signing running back Ricky Williams. The Rams are looking for a back up RB for Steven Jackson. Ricky being a back up in this leauge is more believable. I don't see Ricky starting any where for any team. In my opinion Ricky is done, and the most he can do is be a back up.

While I understand that is the rule, I think it's idiotic that by simply mentioning another player it's considered "tampering."

Linehan was a past coach of Ricky and was answering the question in that context, I don't see how anyone, the League included, can consider that "wrong."

But I guess that is why this rule is rarely enforced. :bricks:
