On Randy Moss being traded to Minnesota…

I was hoping they would have waited a week. That would have been much nicer. Clearly, by them making the trade when they did, you know he’ll play this week. There’s no doubt about that. We just (have) to get ready to play him. I thought it was interesting. Clearly, it was a little surprising. We knew we were going to have to play him another time, so it might as well be this week.

This part cracked me up.

On if there was gamesmanship involved in the trade…

No, I don’t think so (smiling). Probably so. It’s good for New England the fact that he is playing this week. It would be real gamesmanship if they trade him back (laughter). That would be the one where it’s like, ‘That’s not right.’ I hope that doesn’t happen.

I am curious to see how Moss will play against Revis and will it be different.

You got to admit Ryan is a funny guy

It was funny ... there were 4 components to this trade.

We got a draft pick.

We got rid of a disgruntled player.

We did it at the best week possible ... the bye week.

We perhaps may have earned the Jet's a loss ... maybe ... stay tuned.

If the Vikings beat the jets and we win the division by a game the headlines will be back to the genius of Bill Belichick.

I find that comment incredibly egotistical. Get over yourself you big fat tub of sh*t.

You know what I find really amusing...the fact that when things go "wrong" (popular perception) it's BB's fault. Things go right (popular perception)- it's because of BB. Are we SURE BB is pulling ALL the strings at Gillette? Kraft may say all the right things - but that man's ego is bigger than his palatial estate in Brookline (or Rex Ryan's belly). Just sayin.

I dunno. This just may make me loathe Ryan a tiny bit less.

I think its a pretty fair evaluation of things by Ryan.
