I would love to see Edelman torch Revis this Sunday.

"Putting their lives on the line" might be a little hyperbole. The military maybe, but some some over paid MFL player?... NO. Revis is a football player who makes a lot of $. Thats enough. He doesn't deserve my fawning .

Yeah I agree, lets direct all respect to our military, cops, firefighters, paramedics etc. But football players are at high risk for injuries, both short term and long term. At the same time, they are typically well compensated for taking those risks.
