Return of Green-Ellis to Foxboro if/when cut, or No?

I don't know if he'll make the roster, but if he does, Bolden's salary is $570k this year. With six years in the league, I think Green-Ellis' vet minimum would be $730K.

When it comes to JAG depth. always go with the younger (cheaper) player.

In terms of cap space, if BJGE signed for the vet minimum then the cap impact would be the same, $570k.

In terms of budget, I cannot imagine that the $160k difference is a consideration.

No. I like Law Firm and I'm not a big Ridley fan but his time has passed

Unless there were some significant performance upgrade, why would you want to trade a younger player for an older player. In this case, they are both JAG running backs. I don't think either would be a lock to even make the roster. Green-Ellis would be a downgrade. He only averaged 3.4 yards per carry last year. Can you say, "done". Bolden averaged 4.9 yards a carry in limited action.
