I don't think coach would let that happen. There isn't a lot of players from the 2010 team still on the roster

The 2010 team was mostly guys in their first few years. They were still recovering from the leadership void of 2009. This is a much different locker room.

Blount was out because he's probably got the flu.. That does go around this time of year. And it's happened to the Pats before.

You can't guarantee that, remember the afccg in 2010? The pats had beaten the jets 42-3 a month before it seemed impossible that the jest would beat the pats. The pats came out lethargic, played poorly and lost the game. And this isn't the only time its happened. IMO even if the coaches drill it into the players heads and the players say the right things, i still think players read the headlines about how easy a game is going to be and start believing it, its just human nature.

Lots of rookies, soft D and players who played over their head that finally crashed to earth was the issue. Not waltzing in expecting to win.
