for why the Pats will re-sign Danny Aiken
for why the Pats will not resign him

Why not re-sign? Too many errant snaps.
Why re-sign? Allen fielded almost all of them without ill effect, so overall results were quite good.

It appears that 8 long-snappers will become UFAs and 4 will become RFAs.

He's only Okay on snaps - not sure about his down field activities but his name isn't frequent amongst announced tacklers.

Cost to resign versus a rookie. We didn't resign Paxton for cost reasons (I think).

I'd resign and draft/UDFA for competition.
