Report: Rest of NFL Scared of Tom Brady

Honestly, I doubt Brady is anything different than what he has always been. I doubt he prepares harder. I doubt he watches significantly(and by significantly I mean 2-4% more) more film.

The only thing that might make a difference is that the team around him is more galvanized. Perhaps the coaching might be affected by being more pissed and allowing scores to reflect a full 60 minute offense (which sounds wrong to say, but intended more in the fact that perhaps they keep playing to score rather than playing to kill time...on offense. i.e. play 4th quarter like they play 3rd quarter).

Coaches won't take any unnecessary risks. Perhaps the media is just laying groundwork for future stories of "running up the score"

I don't think I'm saying it quite as well as perhaps I can, but hopefully you get the idea.

They think Brady wants Goodell to be forced to hand him the Lombardi Trophy following another Super Bowl win.
The only year Brady won't want that is the year Goodell doesn't hand out the Lombardi. He wantsto win every game, especially the SBs....who doesn't?

Especially if DLineman get free shots, like Jerry Hughes on that play last week

One thing that Brady has learned is that when he's toast, he can go down as easily as Tony Eason........except that in Brady's case, it's reasonable to say that he will get them on the next play

I don't like this narrative the media is trying to sell and some here are jumping the bandwagon. Gotta keep the feet on the ground.

The team is good but got exposed last sunday, we have a battle against Denver and Steelers for HFA, it's a long season. Fortunately Belichick don't give a **** about all that and will keep the guys focused.

I don't know. How can Brady's motivation be any higher than it was before? It may lead the Pats to continue to bludgeon teams more if they have the opportunity, but I don't see them making a win out of a game that would have otherwise been a loss, based purely on motivation. Brady just being Brady will be the difference.

I'd only be scared if I was an over-matched team that has the potential to be embarrassed. Take the Browns-- if the Pats can hang 60 on them, they will. I doubt games against teams like Denver, Pittsburgh, or Seattle... the teams that are relevant... are going to be any different. Buffalo will be an interesting game coming up but the Bills won't be scared.

They probably saw what Bennett did with Garp and Brisset...

Then realized Brady can throw to Gronk and his other receivers too

The Bills probably should be afraid. They put up 16 points on a defense that could barely make a tackle, while the Pats offense could barely stay on the field.

Expected blowouts don't ever seem to turn out that way...woeful as Cleveland is, I'm sleeping with one eye open on this one.

Not By Field Butler Yates:

Surely some revelation is at hand;

Surely the Second Coming is at hand.

The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out

When a vast image out of
Footballus Mundi

Troubles my sight: somewhere in the turf

A shape with Wolverine body and the head of a man,

A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,

Is moving its wicked slow thighs, while all about it

Reel shadows of the indignant Ravens and Colts.

The darkness drops again; but now I know

That four weeks of sunbathing

Were vexed to nightmare by a weasly commissioner,

And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,

Slouches towards Foxboro to be born?
