We should move on simply because, as the Pats know, we screwed up. Regardless of whether it gets called before on the Jets, if we hadn't had done that despite being warned about it in emails sent to teams across the league, then we likely wouldn't have lost that game.
It was just sod's law that the one time they did call it was at the most pivotal point in the game and not consistent with how they'd called it all game.
Maybe we should worry about what we're doing and note getting penalised on stupid things ourselves than what other teams are doing and what the refs get wrong.
We got a break yesterday against the 'phins. Without the illegal batting call, that game could have been very different. It looked like it in real time, but on replay that should never have been called.
