Report: Broncos Firesale - could move Von Miller

Sanders was pretty much invisible today. Don’t know if they featured him.

Wonder if Denver will hold off on a firesale if they win a few more before their bye.

Nope. Chubb’s gone. Season done. Hell, their season was done when he was healthy.

Sanders is really the only one that makes sense.

Unless they decide Fant is already a bust....

They may hold off after beating the Chargers.

If they were 1-3 I would say they may give it a shot to turn the season around, but at 1-4 they probably acknowledge their season is done. They would have to win 8 out of their next 11 games just to make the playoffs. Not happening.

I’d much, MUCH rather have Sanders than Miller. The Patriots need a LT more than anything right now, though.

I would be hesitant to offer even a conditional 7th rounder if a team was trading a healthy 1st round pick 5 games into his career.

Sanders is the only logical target. They had interest in him years ago when he was with the Steelers (then they let him walk a year later without a second round pick). He’s in the last year of his deal so I would assume some sort of contract reworking would be in order but he still seems to have some gas in the tank and would be much cheaper to acquire than Diggs.

Also, he’d already have some insight into our offensive system.

Sanders can get open and would do fantastic in this offense.

Makes too much sense.
I wouldn't want to part with much more than a third.
AJ Green would look fantastic rocking the flying Elvis though.

It makes little sense to trade a ton of draft capital and invest $20M annually for a guy like Miller. The Patriots are much better off using that cap space for Van Noy, D. McCourty (if he doesn't retire), and extending their own guys. While it was a great run in 2015 for Miller and the Denver defense, they haven't made the postseason since then, and there's reason to wonder if it's ever a good idea to pay one guy that much money, if he isn't a QB. Even when healthy, is he really moving the needle that much for that cost? I have the same thoughts about virtually every pass rusher in the $15M+ range (maybe not Donald or another stud DT, who impacts every play.)

WR Corey Davis
TE Eifert
TE Howard
WR E. Sanders
OLineman
WR Sanu
WR C. Ridley
WR Jamison Crowder
WR Diggs
WR Tate
WR T. Boyd

Isn't Corey Davis the shoe guy from the Giants that we already cut once? Or am I completely confusing him with someone else?

Pass rush isn't a need. At least not over OL, TE, and WR. And even if it were the Patriots wouldn't be able to afford that massive contract of Miller's.
Chiefs need him and cant afford him. Plus Denver's not trading with you guys.

Sad for you.
