Dude, my Christmas gift is seeing both the Ravens and Broncos eliminated on Sunday (when they play the Steelers @Pittsburgh and the Chiefs @Arrowhead).

Last year was more about managing injuries. So I'm not sure I would call it a disappointment without reason.

I did. But I also think or am willing to assume that there was a reason for that debacle other than a poor game plan. Were they so dinged up that BB game planned around the injuries? I don't like the assumption that he arrogantly assumed they would win. IOW, I think there is more to the story. But yes it sucked.

That doesn't hold water. If he was "working around injuries" why play Brady. It was a complete and utter brain fart of a decision. I assume he wanted to force the running game to work but that was never going to happen.

Yea but at the same time I don't want to see the Colts win their last 2 because that will win them the divison and a playoff birth

I like the Texans and hope they take the division from the Colts 2 years in a row.. the Colts wouldn't scare me in the playoffs, but I can do without the Andrew Luck ball washing fest the media would spin into if they were to make the post season after their abysmal start, which is only possible because of how terrible their division is

I'd still like to know just wtf they were doing in the Miami game. My best guess is that they were trying to find out if they could run the ball against a solid defense for the playoffs then, halfway through, deciding that they wanted to win. I have no idea. It subjected Brady to some horrific shots, though. But I can't remember another Belichick-coached game where I was absolutely dumbfounded trying to figure out what the hell the plan was.
