Release the Hounds! Use an active Ridley in a 2 or 3 TE set

I'm surprised there's no thread on his assertion that he will be active

Ridley says he will be active for Super Bowl

I agree we should use Ridley, but I'm guessing BB won't, just because of the fumbling issue. Frankly, that is a shame, because I think he could have a huge Super Bowl!

while I have no idea who will be active or inactive on Sunday, I concur that there has to be some quick passes to the RB's....and some RB's that go out on short patterns from the WR position. I think with the constant rush that Brady is sure to face, he is going to need some "bail out" plays to the RB corps underneath or set up out of the backfield/flat. I think we will also be able to RUN the ball against the Gints....and tiring out that front 4 is imperative. I hope they don't do too many of those empty backfield sets in this one.....need a RB back there to keep them honest and pick up some blocks as well.....GO PATS!

And you think Ridley is the back that can pick up the blitz?

I don;t think the SB is the time to gamble on whether or not Ridley can hang onto the ball.

Hopefully Green Ellis's toe is healed and he can give us 15 plus carries to keep the Giants defense honest.
