And Butler is traveling as well. So they will have options with Stanbeck and Nunn come the weekend if they so choose. Also Tate says he's been working with the return teams.

Bob Kraft is very gregarious when it comes to this kind of stuff, when we went to the SB's didn't he charter something like three planes to get the whole staff there??

Does anyone else find it odd that rookies and PS players are talking ot the media as much as they are?

I wonder if they will let Butler fly directly from London to Miami to attend Jasper Howard's funeral which is tentatively scheduled for Monday....

I wouldn't doubt it. They are heading into the bye and will likely be off for a few days anyway.

I do... thought the same thing when I read about the Tate comments. Whatcha talking for rookie ?

But, if he has the goods and can take some snaps while Edelman heals...

The team is leaving today for London rather than the traditional Saturday flight for away games. They do this so they can have extra press time in London. They means they will most likely have a real Friday practice tomorrow which means they might need the PS players.

... plus as others mentioned, any last day substitutions should a starter or backup catch the flu or get sick from the alien cuisene.

How much are they, though... Bill doesn't forbid it, it's not a gulag, he just doesn't want to see players acting like they've arrived prematurely. This stuff is pretty innocuous. Tate is just off PUP and reporters are likely on him like the plague. If he starts talking about his vision for himself as a starter here or something, then he will be muzzled. As I recall with CJ he didn't hang around when he was rehabbing, he had his own plan for that, and his agent kept tallking him up so that thing went south in a hurry. Sounds like this kid has been all in all season soaking up whatever insight he can.

So much for my speculation about Nunn.

This is what I like about BB. He covers every little detail to increase the chances of winning- i.e. flying overnight to reach London by mid-morning, then stay active all day, then crash Friday night and have a good sleep, and on saturday, it gets better for them. Then by the time they play Sunday night, they aren't missing a beat. This is what veteran travelers try to do if possible- I did it on all the times I've flown east across the pond.

The Bucs are, meanwhile, leaving tomorrow morning, which means they get there Friday night, and since they'll be sleeping a lot on the plane (it's around a 8 hour flight from Boston if I remember right and probably more from Tampa) it'll be hard to get off the plane then go to the hotel and then sleep on London time.
