Reiss: TBC (and Alexander?) only re-signed to 1-year deals

According to his twitter. However, BB said in his 5 PM press conference tonight that Alexander was never released.

TBC and Alexander's contracts qualified for the veteran minimum exemption (cap hit < compensation), which meant that they could not be extended. According to Reiss, they were re-signed at normal 1-year deals that raises their cap hits this year but allows them to be extended before they expire.
 
All of this hype for nothing. Seriously NOTHING! OOOOoooo he can be extended now if they choose to. AWESOME.
