Yes. In BB's philosophy it's all about creating competition at every roster spot. Let he who plays best and most CONSISTENTLY win the roster spot. It's open field for Sully and the rest from now on. What did or did not happen the 1st 10 days is subject to revision given consistent performance from now on.

Should he not have done this prior to camp? He had 6 weeks after the trade to actually do something to show he was serious about rejuvenating his career. And what did he do?
He showed up in such bad shape that he was not allowed by the team to participate in the first week of practices.
Nice move dude!

Think about this for a second.... If you're in horrible shape coming in, do you really think it takes just ten days to get to the point where you can pass a grueling conditioning run? No way. The guy had to be in some level of physical condition coming in.

Anyway, I'm glad to see him practicing. Let's hope he makes the most of his second chance.

Seriously, Sullivan was OK in minicamp, and SHOULD easily win a roster spot if he is in shape, which is now the case.

Last time I checked, they don't go full speed in minicamp, so I'm not sure how a DL can be good, bad, or OK.

There are 4 DL locks - Sey, Wilfork, Warren & Green - and probably 3 roster spots open. You have to believe Sullivan is currently at the very bottom of the depth chart. He'll have to show something very significant during the games to make the team.
