6 more outs without giving up another run is all they need. I hate to rely on 1 run to hold this lead. They should have an easy 8th inning though considering where they are in the batting order but the 9th will be hard to get through.

You would like to see them get at least 1 more run here. After this inning they will be on the back half of their batting order. That makes it less likely they will be able to score in the 8th.

Urias coming out for this inning tells us the Dodgers appreciate how important this first game is. They were risking having him not ready for game 2 depending on how things played out.

That should tell you how important it is for LA to win this first game as far as the complexion of the series goes.

This is why you don't always play percentages with your pitchers. Their other pitcher had it tonight. You pull him with 2 outs and put in a guy who you haven't see tonight and you have no clue how his stuff will look today.

If they stayed with the proven arm who was getting the job done this never would have happened. A case of over management cause you are looking at the numbers and not the game too much.
