Speaking of managers/ head coaches: how f'n lucky are we Boston fans:
Goat NFL coach, maybe best NBA coach, and only Cora's 1st year but he is on the short list of best mlb managers. I've loved his approach since the getgo: he laid out some of his plans in spring training and had stuck to them all year; love the way he merges the old-school baseball methods with analytics- like BB does. I've only been thrilled with 2 Sox managers in 50+ years of watching them, **** Williams and Tito.
Was pissed when they ran Tito and Theo off.
But I think Cora is gonna be really good.
