Ravens listing Malik Cunningham as a wide receiver

Whenever we start pining for BB to return we need to remember this. He was 100% responsible for ruining the most important position on his football team, and that's why he lost his job.
Who knows if Maye will succeed, but signing Brissett is the safest bet to shield a rookie from certain doom.
In 2021 Bob Kraft announced the draft would become a collaboration, Elliot Wolf was also hired.

100% responsible? Not according to the guy who signs the checks, or the only person whose opinion matters.

Who the fuk cares?
Long memories. It's like that immortal quote, "If you ain't 1st, you're last." Plus, it's not what you know but who you know, you know.

It's been confirmed that BB had final sign-off. Not only on personnel decisions, but certainly coaching staff.
Which is probably the largest slice of blame pie for the derailment of Mac's career here.
Matty P & Judge, petty benching of best pass-catchers, horrible FA decisions...
There's lots of things that contributed to our QB nightmare the last 3 years - and BB was THE HC & GM.
No need to defend him. He can still be the best HC in history, and have a decline/blindspot at the end of his career.

That was true up until 2021, after that the Krafts clearly started to meddle and made hires in personnel and coaching. They anointed Mayo the heir apparent years ago and were clearly looking to take their team back. I’m sure Jonathan wanted to assert himself and make the team in his image. That’s fine I guess, especially if he’s successful… if not, it’s back to Billy Sullivan Patriots.

I’m pretty optimistic about the direction of the team even if I hate some of their personnel decisions. I was equally critical of BB even after he had success. You trying to paint me as some champion of Bill is typical crap. I have the receipts to prove it.

I root for the laundry, always have… but the truth is the truth, whether it fits your BB sucks agenda or not.

Good things = All Bill
Bad things = Mean people forced Bill's hand

Not trying to turn this into a debate, just providing some balanced appreciation for history and recent facts.
It's okay to recognize BB is the GOAT, and to love him for all he did - while still recognizing that he made some mistakes the last few years.

That is the definition of rooting for the team above all. Nowhere near "BB sucks". Just that no one is above accountability, and in the likely event that we doubt Mayo at points this season, we have to remember that BB wasn't perfect either.

Nobody is perfect, not BB, not Tom, not Kraft…. certainly not me.

I think some people here have trouble recognizing objectivity in it's purist sense… they believe because they have an axe to grind it must mean everyone else does as well.

I root for the Patriots uniform, and the truth is the truth until we receive further evidence that proves otherwise.

Prior to the 2021 draft Kraft held an impromptu press conference announcing the draft and personnel were becoming a collaboration… now the BB haters are pretending this never happened. It is what it is….

Truer words were never spoken.

Fact is Bill let Brady go and had absolutely no plan whatsoever regarding how to replace him. So he stumbled ass backwards into Cam Newton - who absolutely nobody else wanted - and thought that was the solution.

Brady was a free agent... it's the "free" in free agent that seems to be throwing you.

Yeah he was a free agent because Belichick wanted the greatest QB in the history of the game to take year-by-year contracts even though Belichick had absolutely no plan whatsoever in place for once Brady left.

Fact is Bill let Brady go. We know you're not terribly bright so tell me what part of that do you not understand?

You realize players have to sign contracts right? Contracts are a two way street and they’re not signed under the threat of violence.

Brady took less from 2014 on because he wanted to win rings and knew the salary cap existed. They played in 4 Super Bowls and won 3 of them.

His wife wanted him to retire or move them to Florida, there was also a price to pay for all that winning and the Pat’s roster was depleted by 2020.

All things end, grow up, stop whining.

He argues in bad faith and just wants to fight on technicalities. Yes, Brady left as a free agent but we all are aware of the main reason for that happening but Woozy in desperate need to defect blame from Bill puts Brady leaving solely on Brady while deliberately burying his head in the sand. Wozzy has basically just filled the role of Andy and argues in a tedious, binary fashion.

Agreed 100%.
